Meet Stargazy, a new design (OOAK) from the TedandSue workroom in Lyme Regis, England.
Ruffie is made from dense, short haired, Steif Schulte Mohair, black with flecks of grey for a multi tonal texture.
Inner ears and paw pads are reclaimed, soft cotton check with an inner red cotton peeping through the 'worn out' patches. Her ears are wired so can be posed to look ultra sweet.
Her tummy and legs contain lots of steel weightings for a lovely 'phlumphy', weighty feel. She is filled with pure alpaca fleece from the alpacas on my farm.
Ruffie has a wobble pin head/neck joint for a wobbly downcast head. Arms and legs are cotter pin hardware so can be moved.
She has black glass eyes, lower lids edged with cotton fabric and airbrushed black for texture and shading. There are trimmed and shaded patches on arms, legs and tummy.
Ruffie's muzzle is trimmed and shaded. Her nose and mouth are simply stitched with grey perle thread.
Her bunny tail is needle felted from staples of white and black alpaca fibre.
She is wearing a double layered calico frayed ruff hand dyed in vintage red and strung onto elastic.
She is adorned with a real English 1945 Farthing coin on a string, the farthing depicts a wren.
This adorable shabby bunny measures 45cm from ear tips to toe, or 36cm if you don't count her long ears, She sits neatly looking worn and adorable.
She is looking for a wonderful home where she will be treasured.
Ruffie comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
