Meet Shabby Rumble Bell Bear.
Rumble is made from sparse, long hair, Schulte Mohair, hand dyed for a soft multi tonal texture. His body and legs contain steel weightings for a lovely 'phlumphy' feel and he is filled with pure alpaca fleece from the alpacas on my farm (www.lymealpacas.co.uk). Arms and legs are more densely packed whilst the body has less filling for an aged feel.
5 way cotter pin hardware joints.
He has black, hand-made English glass eyes edged with white, wet felted alpaca fibre for highlights. His muzzle is trimmed and shaded and his nose and mouth are embroidered black perle thread.
His ear linings and inner paw pads are 100% cotton, black watch tartan, with the pads being overlaid and 'worn-out' with hand dyed cotton calico.
He is wearing a Victorian antique collar made from shot silk and cotton, which has been drawn up on a dyed drawstring.
This adorable bear takes his name from the large antique 'rumble bell' worn on a string around his neck. The original bell is engraved 'VICTORIA' No.22 and still contains the rumble pea.
He is looking for a wonderful home where he will be treasured.
Thank you for looking, Sue x
