Are you a Doll or Teddy bear artist or maker?

Teddy Bear Artists/BJD clothing designers

If you are an artist or bear maker what type of bears do you design and make?

We specialise in miniature soft sculpture creations and usually make one-of-a-kind or very small limited editions. The intricacy of design as well as the variety of finishes, including beadwork and embroidery, have become trademarks of our work. As well as tiny bears we also make a wide range of other creatures and our total annual output is generally only approximately 100 bears each I also make as a range of 'handfuls' which are slightly larger 5-6" tall.

All our tiny creations are stitched entirely by hand using the finest materials. We use delicate details and finishes on our bears drawing on our extensive experience in beading and embroidery to create unique and distinctive miniature teddy bears.

How long have you made bears or dolls?

Describe when and why you started to collect Dolls or Teddy Bears.

Purchased a hand made bear in the UK whilst on holiday many years ago. Returned home and started sourcing fabrics and patterns, the rest is history.

Megan's interest in dolls started with her Barbie dolls and the clothing she made for them.
