About Me


 


My name is Dorothy and I create small multicolored teddy bears I call

TeddyFolk. I dye and paint my own unique combinations of color, using

mohair, wool,  viscose, glass eyes and hand stiching as my basic palette.

I am inspired each day by people, their resourcefulness and resiliency. 
I have a soft spot for stories and songs, folk and old timey. My favorite

word is simplify. But sometimes I tend to complicate things.

Hi Dorothy, hope everything's fine. You are an Elvis Presley fan, correct? I purchased a teddy bear with miniature painting of Elvis for my mother from artist Bears of Bath. Really very nice. Suny greetings from Northern Italy, hugs, Iris
